The Galilee - Tabgha
One of the two important churches in tabgha is the church of multipication of the loaves and Fishes belonging to the Benedictine Order (German-speaking Catholics). This church commemorates the miracle Jesus did when he transformed five loaves and two fish food for 5,000 hungry and poor people. According to Scripture the miracle occurred in Tziida in the north west side of the lake. in the Byzantine period probably due to proximity to Capernaum - Jesus's residence took place at Tabgha was acceptable, topographic valley seven springs which gave it its name in Greek - feta Fgon wrong and hence - Tabgha.
Famous mosaic little church located at the foot of the altar, which are two fish and four loaves of bread.
