Jaffa-Jerusalem railway station which opened late nineteenth century became a recreation complex.
After years in which was closed to the public and was hidden it was opened two years ago next to  Neve Tzedek neighborhood and the beach of Tel Aviv. The place, called simply "The Station" (Hatachana in hebrew), was once the city center and a major crossroads and bustling commercial life of Israel.
The train station area covers an area of ​​approximately 20 acres with 22 buildings from different periods meticulously restored. It includes,among other things, the historic train station buildings, the Wieland family home Templar and its factory. Next to the historic buildings youcan enjoy today from a variety of shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes.
